How to Create a Money Bowl in 8 Simple Steps:
Step 1: Find a small to medium sized bowl, preferably green or gold in color, or any bowl that calls to you. If you prefer a jar you can use that instead.
Step 2: Cleanse the bowl or jar with incense smoke, sage smoke, or any other energy cleansing tool to energetically clean the bowl or jar.
Step 3: Next you want to take a piece of paper and write down all of your intentions and manifestations that you want to attract with this money bowl.
A great manifestation technique is to write out your intentions in the present tense, such as “I am or I have” statements.“ I am abundance, I have a successful business, etc.”
In addition to writing your intentions on paper, you can also write your intentions out directly on the bay leaves. Once you are done writing, fold your paper with your written intentions in an upwards motion, so that you are folding the paper towards you, this will welcome the energy of your intentions towards you by folding it that way.
Step 4: Once your money bowl or jar has been cleansed, and you’ve written out your intentions, you can begin placing ingredients to put in your bowl. You can add a mix of crystals or crystal chips, dry rice, herbs, essential oils, money, coins, charms, and trinkets in your bowl. While you are placing your chosen items in the money bowl, recite or chant your intentions as you place the items. Make sure to place your paper with the written intentions in your money bowl as well.
Step 5: Take your spell candle and anoint it with herbs or essential oils. You can carve sigils or symbols of your intentions on the spell candle if you desire.
Step 6: After you’ve prepared your spell candle, light your spell candle and safely burn it in the money bowl. The Element of Fire will further activate your intentions and money bowl.
Step 7: You can use the melting wax from your spell candle to drip wax over the chosen items in your money bowl, which will seal your intentions with the wax of the candle.
It is up to you if you want to continue to let the candle burn all the way or you can blow the candle out after sealing with wax and place the candle back in the bowl. Some just like to light the candle and seal with wax and blow it out after, others prefer to let the candle burn out all the way. There is no wrong way to complete this step so follow your own guidance and intuition.
Step 8: Once you are finished with the candle and your intention is sealed, place the money bowl in a safe space where you feel drawn to place it. This can be in your sacred space or altar, in your work place or business, in your bedroom, near your front door, etc.
You'll want to continue to feed or add to your money bowl every few days or whenever you feel called to do so. This will keep the energy of your money bowl alive and flowing to welcome more abundance in. You can feed it with more money, coins, essential oils, herbs, crystals, and anything that represents prosperity and abundance to you.
If you decide you no longer want your money bowl, or want to re-do it with new intentions, take out the chosen items, coins, crystals and charms, and return all the natural items of herbs and resins to the earth. You will want to cleanse the bowl which will reset its energy to help you create a new money bowl. You can also cleanse the crystals you used from your previous money bowl so the crystals have fresh energy for a new money bowl.
